Windows 10 Home is the installed operating system. There are also built-in stereo speakers with Dolby audio. The Surface Pro X has 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, a 256GB SSD, a nano SIM card slot, LTE Advanced Pro, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.0, a 5MP front-facing camera with Windows Hello face authentication sign-in, an 8MP rear-facing camera with 4K video recording and autofocus, and dual integrated microphones for Cortana, Microsoft's intelligent assistant. The Qualcomm-powered Microsoft SQ1 processor can be boosted up to 3.0 GHz when performing demanding tasks. The display also supports 10-point touch, so you can take full advantage of the multi-touch gestures incorporated into Windows 10 Home. The Surface Pro X features a 13" PixelSense display with a 2880 x 1920 screen resolution (267 PPI) and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The Surface Slim Pen (sold separately) provides up to 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity while the Surface Dial (also sold separately) allows for on-screen interactions. Use the multi-position Kickstand and the Surface Pro X Signature Keyboard (sold separately) to turn the Surface Pro X into a laptop.


Weighing just 1.7 pounds and measuring just 0.28" thin, the Surface Pro X features an anodized aluminum design with carbon composite fan less thermal cooling. The thin and lightweight matte black Microsoft 13" Multi-Touch Surface Pro X features a compact design with an ARM chipset and integrated Gigabit LTE Advanced Pro connectivity (data plans sold separately).
